Standing straight and always having a somewhat pleasant aura about him, Tamaki can easily be considered a business man. He'd probably do good with such a job, as well. Sadly, though, he is not. Wearing a dully green colored suit and having some strange looking shoes, Tamaki sticks out quite a bit within Deadman Wonderland. His hair is a light chestnut with a rooster-like crown in the front, earning him the title of "Rooster" among the prisoners. He is almost always seen with a long smile on his face and with almost always squinted eyes behind glasses. Underneath the suit, it's apparent that Tamaki is most likely thin. He's all brains and no brawn - he can easily get some dumb ass to do that for him.

You could say Tamaki treats everything like a game of checkers - patient enough to wait for his opponent's next move yet always earning himself the first and last check mate.
An obviously unstable man, Tamaki proves to be one of the most heartless men one would ever meet in their entire lifetime. His job is to promote and to sponsor violence and anything that deals with it. He is sadistic and selfish, easily prospering in the "beautiful" sight of gore. Tamaki takes an almost childish approach to the violence that is dealt upon others - "They're criminals, and criminals' lives are not important!" Almost in uncontrollable glee, Tamaki is incredibly excited when he sees it and will even giggle if he is truly amused.
Like a child, he is never truly satisfied. Tamaki always thinks of new ways to toy around with others and abuses these ways once found. When the time comes, he will even experiment on them by using their endurance and their actions against them. This is his way of describing "fun".
Ruthless and cold, Tamaki is very cunning and VERY adaptive. When introduced to a new scenario, it isn't even considered new in a matter of seconds. Tamaki has already gotten used to it and already abusing each and every advantage he can find. Tamaki is careful with his words and has shown to be a tough egg to crack when information is needed. One could even threaten to punch his brains out, and he will only give another riddle to lead them on.
Having no issue with bragging, once Tamaki realizes a person cannot touch him, he will take pride in it. If there is ever a moment for Tamaki to brag, he is going to take the chance and use it up until his very heart is content.
The only fear he seems to have shown is towards the "Wretched Egg" of Deadman Wonderland. He is afraid that what it is capable of would be too much for even his precious ninben to handle. Because of this reason, he wants that thing dead and as soon as possible.

Deadman Wonderland
Tamaki is the warden of Deadman Wonderland.
A jail with a carnival-like twist. After a devastating earthquake hite Tokyo, it created a strange cause and effect scenario. Red stones began appearing in the areas of the quake and this somehow caused people to earn them selves a new power - using their blood as a weapon. They were dubbed "Deadman".
Deadmen were kept in secret and were used to attract tourists. Deadman Wonderland was what held them in.
Also known as DW, it is also built with an amusement park and has three layers that are shown so far.
DW runs a few gorey shows, one known as Carnival Corpse. This is where two Deadmen are pit against one another - one comes out while the other one is, usually, dead.
Another aspect about this jail is that the Deadmen are hooked up with special collars that inject a daily dosage of poison into their systems. They are given a three day limit before they must eat a piece of "candy". If the three day limit is exceeded and no candy is eaten, the unfortunate Deadman die. The only way to get "candy" is too participate in shows and win cast points - the DW currency - to buy them.

* smooth talker: An excellent talker and manipulator, it doesn't take Tamaki exactly long to get what he wants.
* strong willed: Tamaki is usually in an almost unbroken state of happiness. This makes him hard to scare even when he's on the disadvantage.

history
Despite having no history being exactly revealed, one can still theorize based on his actions.
Being the son of the previous warden of DW, Tamaki knew more than most of the employees. Him being the next man to inherit being one thing he only knew. Due to probably not knowing what Tamaki truly was, this must've been why he was chosen next - obviously not because of his sadistic behavior.
Not very respectful towards his elders, Tamaki sometimes went into his father's room and teased him about how he changed his prison from being a "boring" jail to a chaotic carnival.
When his father had died, he wasted no time in taking over DW and even celebrated by using his father's decapitated head as a bowling ball.
Tamaki is willing to hire anyone who is as mad as he is, and was currently experimenting with a new type of Deadmen - ninben. They are artificial Deadmen whose blood has more dire consequences.
