†»History ¦ As a child she was raised by Father Anderson, along with Heinkel Wolfe and Enrico Maxwell, as he was known to take care of the orphans at the church. This likely led to her joining the Vatican's 13th division, along side Father Anderson and her comrade Heinkel.
She is there when a small group from Iscariot tries to 'capture' Integra Hellsing, but end up just guiding her back to her house, only after being called a pack of rapists by Father Anderson. As Yumie she gets quite annoyed when Integra asks for a 'light' and is about ready to whip out her sword.
Her and the rest of the group show up for Father Andersons final battle with Alucard. Upon seeing his death she feels a deep sadness, as he was like family to her. When Walter steps on his reminds, she is filled with rage and lunges forward with her sword to try and kill him.Though she moved swiftly she was caught by his wires and quickly put to an end.
